Ayer por la noche, el Screen Actors Guild (SAG), el sindicato de actores, realizó en la cuidad de Los Angeles, su ceremonia de premiación. En el rubro cine, la película Fences, dirigida y protagonizada por Denzel Washington resultó ganadora de dos galardones (uno premiándolo a él, y otro para Viola Davis). Mientras que Emma Stone, obtuvo el premio a Mejor Actriz por su interpretación en La La Land, de Damien Chazelle, acercándose así aún más al Oscar.
En cuanto al rubro televisión, los elencos ganadores resultaron los de Strangers Things (en categoría drama), y Orange is the new black (en categoría comedia).
